The Mosaic of STEM activities

So, there was one class that participated in this event. Every person in this class is really into technical sciences beacuse they have Mathematics course. The group of the students of this class is creating the prototype of the future meteorological station that will be placed in our gimnasia. They are also creating and inventing other interesting appliances. In addition, they went to Ternopil to participate in STEM festival and present their project "Appliance for saving electricity in media centers". Their preformance and insistent moving to their dream inspired us for organizing this project. After their performance we contacted with teachers from this university and asked them to come and have a lection in our school. And the Peace Corps volunteer who works in our school saw the woman on CouchSurfing website who has a degree in Software Engineering and needs accomodation in our district. So he invited her and had a lection in the gimnasia.

So, we called our event "The Mosaic of STEM activities" because we didn't have one day of working in this project. We had different activities for one day from 11.3 to 11.16. So we had many lessons that involved STEM activities. For example, our guest from France had a English lesson. We talked about struggles in getting a degree in Software Engineering and at the same time we learned English. Also themes that other lecturers were talking about were related to our Physics and Computer Science school course. They also were important in choosing future profession.

So, there were 3 lecturers.  One lecturer was a woman from France who has Software Engineering degree. Two other lecturers were from Ternopil National Technical University. They talked about Computer Science and Physics. There were 23 students participating in this event. They all are the students of Zalishchyky State Gimnasia. Teachers listened to the lecturers and had tasks with students. Teachers are from Zalishchyky State Gimnasia.
